Ingredients:
1 can (8 ounces) Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
1 pound ground beef
1 packet (1 ounce) taco seasoning
1/2 cup water
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup salsa
Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, diced green onions, sour cream, guacamole
Directions :
1- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
3- Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet with the cooked ground beef. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for a few minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
4- Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the greased baking dish to form a crust.
5- Spread the cooked ground beef mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust.
6- Pour the salsa over the ground beef layer, spreading it evenly.
7- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the salsa layer.
8- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent roll crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
9- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve the Crescent Roll Taco Bake warm with your favorite toppings, such as diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, diced green onions, sour cream, and guacamole.
