3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
2- Microwave the mixture on high for 1 minute.
3- Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir until the chocolate chips and butter have melted and the mixture is smooth.
4- If needed, microwave for an additional 15-30 seconds and stir again.
5- Stir in the vanilla extract and chopped nuts (if desired).
6- Pour the fudge mixture into a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.
7- Smooth the top with a spatula and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is firm.
8- Once firm, cut the fudge into squares and serve.
