Old Fashioned Pancakes

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Maple syrup, fresh fruits, or your favorite toppings, for serving
Directions :
1- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
2- In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then add the milk and melted butter. Mix well.
3- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. It’s okay if there are a few lumps.
4- Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Grease the surface lightly with butter or cooking spray.
5- Scoop about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another minute or until golden brown.
6- Transfer the cooked pancakes to a plate and keep them warm. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
7- Serve the Old Fashioned Pancakes with maple syrup, fresh fruits, or your favorite toppings.
