Old Fashioned Cream Cheese Pound Cake


1 ½ cups unsalted butter, softened
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
3 cups granulated sugar
6 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon salt

Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a 10-inch bundt pan.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the vanilla extract, almond extract, and salt until evenly incorporated.
Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 15 minutes.
Carefully transfer the cake onto a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
