Meatball Casserole

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and egg. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
Place the meatballs in the greased baking dish, arranging them in a single layer.
Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the meatballs, making sure they are fully covered.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the meatballs.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired, and serve hot.
