Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 medium apples, peeled and finely chopped
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/2 cup caramel sauce


Directions:
1- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2- In a medium bowl, combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar, and softened butter. Mix well to combine.
3- Press mixture into prepared baking dish.
4- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until creamy and smooth.
5- Pour cream cheese mixture over crust in baking dish.
6- In a small bowl, mix together chopped apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
7- Sprinkle apple mixture evenly over cream cheese layer.
8- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the apple layer.
9- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden brown and center is set.
10- Let cool before slicing into bars and serving.
