Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup (60ml) chicken broth
1/4 cup (60ml) heavy cream
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Directions:
In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the chicken broth, heavy cream, and lemon juice.
Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss them in the sauce to coat evenly.
Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat everything through.
Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
