1.5 lbs beef tips, cubed
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
12 oz egg noodles, cooked according to package instructions
1- Season the beef tips with salt and pepper.
2- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef tips and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
4- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and become tender.
5- Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and stir to coat.
6- Gradually pour in the beef broth while stirring continuously to prevent lumps. Bring to a simmer.
7- Return the beef tips to the skillet and stir in the heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
8- Stir in the chopped fresh parsley.
9- Serve the beef tips and creamy gravy over cooked egg noodles.
