1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Lemon wedges, for serving
1- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
2- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well to create the lemon garlic butter sauce.
3- Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet.
4- Drizzle the lemon garlic butter sauce over the shrimp, making sure to coat them evenly.
5- Bake the shrimp in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are pink and cooked through.
6- Remove the shrimp from the oven and sprinkle them with chopped fresh parsley.
7- Serve the baked shrimp with lemon wedges on the side for added zest.
